So, how often do we, as women, purchase a new cosmetic product thinking it will turn us from our self perceived role of ugly duckling to Cinderella instantly? I know I have! Who can blame us?!? Ads are constantly bombarding women with pictures of the latest trends and the skinniest models, warping our view of what true beauty really looks like (anyway, get off your soap box Savannah).

 

AVON has a really cool tool available right now called the AVON Virtual Makeover Tool. This tool allows you to take a photograph of yourself, upload it to the website, and "try on" beauty products to see how they might look on you before you buy them. This tool is particularly good at helping you see what colors work best with your skin, eyes, face shape, etc. It's not going to help you if you are trying to determine the difference in texture between two lipsticks or decide which foundation lasts longer (some things you really do just have to try...). Luckily, AVON has a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, SO if you don't like something that you purchase, you can always return it.

 

For those of you who would like to give this nifty tool a try, I have included some screenshots below to guide you in this process. I just used one of the generic models (instead of loading one of my pictures).

 

Step 1: Go to https://www.avon.com/virtualmakeover and upload your photo.

 

 

Step 2: Pick your products from the left hand side and apply them to your picture. This step is where all the magic happens. Play around with multiple colors and products. See which colors and make-up types compliment you the best.

 



 

 

Step 3: After you've selected your "best look," check the box on the options in the right panel that you want to purchase to complete your look. Then click "add to bag."

 

 

 Step 4: Click on your shopping bag in the upper right hand corner of the AVON website. This will direct you to the check-out page, where you can purchase your products. Please don't forget to designate me as your AVON representative before completing your purchase.

You Can You Use AVON Bubble Bath How Many Different Ways?!?

1.                    Zillions of bubbles that leave NO bath tub ring.

2.                    Does a beautiful job on washing cars, mobile homes, RVs, and boats.

3.                    Great as a laundry detergent, no fabric softener needed.
